Online Store Terms and Conditions
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern purchases from the Legendary Tales Barrel & Brewhouse online store at https://commerce.arryved.com/location/BT96be0y (the “Store”). The Store is operated by Legendary Tales Barrel & Brewhouse, a Michigan LLC, located at 309 E Highway US2, Wakefield, Michigan 49968 (“Legendary Tales,” “we,” “us”).
By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Store.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 to buy merchandise and at least 21 to buy a Mug Club membership or any beverage product. We may ask for proof of age at any time, including at pickup.
Order of terms. If these Terms conflict with a specific product page or promotion, the more specific terms on that page apply to that item.
2. Orders and pricing
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send an order confirmation email; the automatic “order received” email is not acceptance.
We may refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, stock shortages, failed age checks, or orders that appear to be for resale. If we cancel after charging you, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.
Prices are in US dollars. We try to list products, colors and sizes accurately, but screen colors vary and stock can sell out between your order and fulfillment. If a listed price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before your order is ready and you may confirm the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We may limit quantities per customer, order or household.
3. Payment and taxes
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Payments are processed by Fullsteam Operations LLC; we do not store full card numbers. You authorize us to charge the total shown at checkout, including item prices and applicable taxes.
Michigan sales tax and any other applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on the item and our pickup location.
4. Merchandise: pickup and returns
Pickup only. All merchandise orders are picked up at our taproom. We don’t currently ship orders. If we add shipping, we’ll update these Terms first.
Pickup. We’ll email you when your order is ready. Bring your order confirmation and a photo ID matching the name on the order, or the alternate pickup person named at checkout. Please pick up during taproom hours within 7 days of that email. Unclaimed merchandise orders are cancelled and refunded.
Pre-orders. Pre-order and made-to-order items are ready by the date shown on the product page. If we can’t meet that date, we’ll email you a new date and you may cancel for a full refund.
Returns. You may return unworn, unwashed, undamaged merchandise with tags attached within 30 days of pickup for a refund or exchange. Bring it to the taproom with your order confirmation, or email [email protected] first. Refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Final sale. Sale items, gift cards, custom or personalized items, and opened glassware are final sale unless defective.
Defective items. If an item is defective, contact us within 30 days of pickup and we will replace or refund it.
5. Mug Club pre-sale memberships
Mug Club pre-sales begin October 16, 2026, before our taproom opens. Pre-sale memberships start that day, and you pick up your member items at the taproom once we open.
Membership tiers. We offer three Mug Club tiers. Prices are per person and before tax.

- $2–$3 off growler fills, based on the beer’s ABV ($2 below 7.5% ABV / $3 at 7.5% ABV and above)

- A member keychain showing your tier
- Beer served in our 19.5 oz member glass (see Pour sizes)
Yearly and Lifetime members also receive:
- A leather tankard wrap inscribed with your member number, name and our logo
- Quarterly special events exclusive to Mug Club members
- Private keg sales
Lifetime members also receive:
- A tin beer stein
- One free Yearly membership each year to gift (see Gifted memberships)
Pour sizes. In the member glass, beers below 7.5% ABV are poured at 19.5 oz, and beers at 7.5% ABV or higher are poured at 12 oz.
Private keg sales. Yearly and Lifetime members may buy kegs for private, off-premise use, subject to availability, our license, and Michigan keg sale and registration requirements. The member must be present with valid ID and complete any required keg records.
Double Discount Day. On Double Discount Day, member discounts on pours are doubled. We may change the day with 7 days’ notice to members.
Age and ID. Members must be 21 or older. You must show a valid government-issued photo ID matching the name on the order to activate your membership and each time you use a perk involving alcohol.
Terms and renewals. Seasonal and Yearly memberships run on the fixed calendar terms in the table above, whatever day you join. A membership bought partway through a term ends with that term, and prices are not prorated. Pre-sale memberships start on October 16, 2026. For Yearly pre-sale members, the period from October 16, 2026, to May 1, 2027, counts as part of their first year. Renewal pricing applies only if you renew before your current term ends.
Lifetime memberships. A Lifetime membership lasts for the member’s life, or until Legendary Tales Barrel & Brewhouse permanently closes, whichever comes first. It is personal and ends on the member’s death. If the brewery closes or is sold to an owner who doesn’t continue the Mug Club, Lifetime memberships end with no refund. Early-bird pricing of $250 applies to purchases made from October 16, 2026, to May 1, 2027. A Yearly member who completes their first year may upgrade to Lifetime for $250 instead of renewing.
Gifted memberships. Each year, every Lifetime member receives a keychain good for one free Yearly membership. You may give it to any person aged 21 or older, subject to our approval, and they activate it with ID at the taproom. A gifted membership not given out by May 1 each year goes into a shared pool. We award pooled memberships through a free drawing, with no purchase necessary, under official rules we post at the taproom. We’ll tell each Lifetime member who received their pooled membership and offer an introduction so they can become “Beer Buddies” for that year; the recipient may decline. Gifted memberships have no cash value.
Pickup. We will email you when your member items are ready. Please pick them up within 60 days of that email. Items not picked up by then may be released, and your membership still runs for its full term.
Opening delays. We plan to open in November 2026, but opening depends on construction and inspections outside our control. We’ll email updates if the date moves. If we have not opened by December 19, 2026, you may request a full refund until we open.
Refunds. Before we open, you may cancel any membership for a full refund by emailing [email protected]. After a membership starts, it is non-refundable except as required by law, including Lifetime memberships.
Transfers. Memberships are personal and can’t be resold or transferred, except a Lifetime member’s gifted Yearly membership. Before pickup, you may move a pre-sale membership to another person aged 21+ by emailing us with their name. Any gift or transfer of a membership to another person is at our discretion and subject to our approval.
Alcohol perks follow the law. Pour discounts, Double Discount Day, growler and flight discounts, pour sizes and private keg sales are provided only as Michigan law and our license allow. If a law or MLCC rule stops us from offering a perk, we will replace it with one of similar value. Mug Club fees do not prepay for any alcoholic beverage, and we may refuse service to any member under the law.
Member items. Keychains, tankard wraps and steins are yours to keep. Member glassware and steins stored at the taproom are handled carefully, but we aren’t liable for ordinary wear; we’ll replace any item we break. A lost keychain can be replaced for $5.
Conduct. We may end a membership, with or without a refund at our discretion, if a member breaks taproom rules, serves or gives alcohol to anyone underage or intoxicated, or harasses staff or guests.
6. Beverage orders (pickup only)
This section applies once beverage sales open online.
Beer and other alcoholic beverages ordered online are sold for pickup at our taproom only. We do not ship or deliver alcohol.
Age verification. The person picking up must be 21 or older and show a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. The ID must match the name on the order, or an alternate pickup person named at checkout who also meets these requirements. We will refuse to release alcohol to anyone who can’t show ID, appears intoxicated, or appears to be buying for someone under 21.
Pickup window. Orders must be picked up during taproom hours within 7 days of the ready-for-pickup email, or the date stated for a release. Unclaimed orders are cancelled and refunded at 50% of the purchase price.
Refused pickups. If we refuse to release an order under this section, we will refund it.
Limits and releases. Limited releases may carry per-person limits, and quantities are subject to availability and to Michigan law.
Returns. Because of product safety and state law, alcoholic beverages can’t be returned once picked up. If a product is defective, tell us within 7 days and we will replace it or issue store credit.
Consume responsibly. Don’t drink and drive. Alcoholic beverages are for consumption off our premises unless served to you by our staff.
7. Accounts
You’re responsible for keeping your account login secure and your information accurate. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone has used your account without permission. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or in breach of these Terms.
8. Promotions and gift cards
Discount codes and promotions have the terms stated with them, can’t be combined unless stated, and have no cash value. Gift cards are subject to the gift card terms on their product page and Michigan law, and can’t be used to buy alcohol where the law prohibits it.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Store: no fraud, scraping, bots, reselling in bulk, interfering with the site, or using another person’s payment details or ID.
10. Intellectual property
The Legendary Tales name, logos, artwork, beer names, label designs and Store content belong to us or our licensors. Buying a product doesn’t give you any right to use them commercially.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information, including age verification details. By using the Store you agree to it.
12. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these Terms and to the extent the law allows, products are provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states don’t allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for our negligence causing personal injury.
14. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by Michigan law. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve any problem. If we can’t, disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts for Gogebic County, Michigan, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Changes apply to orders placed after the new version is posted; the Terms in effect when you ordered apply to that order, including existing Mug Club memberships.
